A Dhaka court today placed a female member of Neo JMB on a four-day remand in a case filed under Anti-Terrorism Act.

Senior Judicial Magistrate Ashrafuzzaman passed the order after the police produced the arrestee - Shaila Sharmin – before the court with a seven-day remand plea.

"Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police cordoned off a house at Gokulnagar area of Ashulia today suspecting it a 'militant den' yesterday," Abdul Mannan, additional deputy commissioner of CTTC said.

"Police arrested Shaila from the house. A screw driver, toy gun, computer hard disk and active bomb making device were seized from the spot," he added.
