ACC director Niyamul Ahsan sought 10 days to quiz Rupon
A Dhaka court on Sunday placed Gendaria thana Awami League joint secretary Rupon Bhuiyan on a five-day remand in a case filed by Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) for undisclosed income.
His brother Enamul Haque, vice president of Gendaria thana Awami League, has been shown arrested in a separate case filed by the ACC for undisclosed income.
Judge KM Emrul Kayesh of Senior Special Judge's Court in Dhaka passed both the orders after ACC director Niyamul Ahsan submitted two separate petitions.

Earlier, on January 14, A Dhaka court placed the duo on a four-day remand.
The CID on January 13, arrested Enamul and Rupon from Keraniganj area.
They were staying at a rented house in Keraniganj where they were trying to prepare fake passports to flee the country.
The brothers were shareholders of Wanderers Club in the capital's Fakirapool.
