Two DSCC supervisors sacked over dealings with brokers
ACC officials caught them red handed conducting illegal dealings with two brokers
Two licensing and advertising supervisors of Dhaka South City Corporation were removed from their posts over allegations of illegal dealings with two brokers.
Acting on a tip-off, enforcement unit of Anti-corruption commission (ACC) conducted a raid on Monday at the offices of Md Selim and Md Daulat, catching them red handed while conducting illegal dealings with two brokers, said a press release issued by DSCC.
During the raid, cash money, new licenses and license renewal documentations were recovered from the possession of the two brokers, Md Abdur Rahman and Mohammad Sabbir Alam, who were later handed over to Khilgaon police station.
Initial evidence of collusion has been found between the brokers and supervisors of DSCC, the release added.
In an effort to rid DSCC of corruption, the two licensing and advertising supervisors have been removed from their posts.
