On Sunday after a hearing, the High Court directed Ekattor TV to submit a written explanation regarding the news and talk show with PK Halder

Ekattor TV has submitted a video clip of an interview and talk show featuring PK Halder – who fled abroad on charges of embezzling and smuggling several thousand crores of taka – to the Registrar General of the Supreme Court

On Sunday after a hearing, the High Court directed Ekattor TV to submit a written explanation regarding the news and talk show with PK Halder.

A virtual bench comprising High Court Justice Nazrul Islam Talukder and Justice Ahmed Sohel passed the order after hearing the matter. The court also set 17 January as the date for the next hearing.

Deputy Attorney General AKM Amir Uddin Manik confirmed the matter.

Mohammad Khurshid Alam Khan represented the Anti-Corruption Commission in court and Deputy Attorney General AKM Amir Uddin Manik appeared for the state.
