Expatriate Bangladeshis in Canada's Toronto formed human chain on January 19, 2020, protesting against the persons who settled in Canada after laundering money from Bangladeshi banks and other financial institutions.

After Toronto, expatriate Bangladeshis in Canada's Montreal announced to form a human chain protesting against the persons who settled in Canada after laundering money from Bangladeshi banks and other financial institutions.

They will form a human chain on Sunday (March 8) in front of Parc Metro Station of Montreal at around 3.30pm (local time) under the slogan of "Stop robbers, save your homeland".

The expatriate Bangladeshis of Toronto started movements few months ago demanding legal actions against the money launderers and boycotting them. They formed human chain for several times.

Organisers of the human chain said, the programme has been called to prevent miscreants to come to Canada and make it as their safe home, after looting thousands of crores money from Bangladesh.  After Toronto, they want to convey the clear message that Canada will not be allowed to be a safe destination for Bangladeshi robbers and money launders.

They requested Bangladeshi expatriates to take part in the event.

As part of their ongoing movement, expatriate Bangladeshis in Toronto called for a protest meeting on March 7. The protest meeting will be held at Bangladesh Centre at 6pm (local time).
