In Singapore, 81 people have been infected with the coronavirus so far

The condition of a Bangladeshi infected with the new coronavirus in Singapore is critical, said Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen.
Singapore Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan informed the Bangladeshi foreign minister over phone on Wednesday.
Bangladesh's foreign ministry told the media, Singapore's foreign minister called Momen over phone at around 9:30am. Bangladeshi foreign minister thanked him for providing treatment to the coronavirus affected Bangladeshis.
AK Momen told Vivian Balakrishnan that Singapore's medical facilities are much better. Bangladesh has confidence in their treatment.
In Singapore, 81 people have been infected with the coronavirus so far. Five of them are Bangladeshis. They all have been working at the construction site of Seletar Aerospace Heights.
The death toll from the new coronavirus in mainland China passed 2,000 on Wednesday although the number of new cases fell for a second straight day, as authorities tightened already severe containment measures in the worst-hit city of Wuhan.
China's National Health Commission reported 1,749 new confirmed cases of coronavirus infections, the lowest daily rise since January 29, while Hubei province - the epicentre of the outbreak - reported the lowest number of new infections since February 11.
