China, Myanmar and Bangladesh agreed on Rohingya repatriation: Minister
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had an open discussion on Rohingya repatriation with Chinese premier during her recent visit to China
China, Myanmar and Bangladesh had a trilateral discussion on Rohingya repatriation at the United Nations, said Disaster Management and Relief State Minister Dr Md Enamur Rahman.
He also said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had an open discussion on Rohingya repatriation with Chinese premier during her recent visit to China.
The minister said this today while visiting the Rohingya camp at Ukhia upazila in Cox's Bazar.
"China asked the Myanmar government to take necessary steps for speedy repatriation," the minister added.
"The three countries have agreed on repatriation. The repatriation process is going on with the help of the international community by ensuring human rights of the Rohingya people, including access to medical facilities, security and education," he further said.
