Bangladesh High Commission in Ottawa celebrates Bangabandhu’s Homecoming Day

The Bangladesh High Commission in Ottawa, Canada organised a special discussion and a cultural programme on the occasion of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's Homecoming Day-2021.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the day was observed in compliance with the local government's health rules. Md Shakil Mahmud, counselor of the High Commission conducted the programme.

At the beginning of the programme, Minister Mia Md Mainul Kabir and Counselor Arpana Rani Pal recited the message of the President and the Prime Minister from Dhaka on the occasion of this day. Then a special discussion was held.

High Commissioner in his speech said, "Bangladesh cannot be imagined without Bangabandhu. The celebration of victory was completed with the return of Bangabandhu."

The discussion was followed by a brief cultural programme.
