Every year, the Global Firepower releases a ranking of global powers based on the country's potential military strength.
The ranking in the 2021 edition considers over 50 different factors to determine a given country's PwrIndx (PowerIndex) score – based on the manpower, airpower, land forces, naval forces, natural resources, financials, logistical capability, and geographical location.
Forty-five Asian countries have been included in the current list, among which Bangladesh ranked the 20th with a PwrIndx rating of 0.7497.
