Babunagari, Nurul Islam made Hefazat amir, secretary general

Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh has announced a new central committee on Monday making Junayed Babunagari as Amir and Nurul Islam Jihadi as General Secretary.

The new committee was announced at a press conference held at Makhjanul Ulum Madrasa in the capital's Khilgaon at 11am on Monday, reports Somoy TV.

Joint General Secretary of the dissolved committee, Mamunul Haque and Organizational Secretary Azizul Haque has been dropped out from the new committee because of their controversies.

Also the leaders accused in the murder of Shah Ahmad Shafi have been dropped in the new committee.

Hefazat-e-Islam Amir Junayed Babunagari dissolved its central committee on 25 April.
