The Embassy of Bangladesh in Kathmandu, Nepal celebrated the International Mother Language Day on Sunday with dignity and solemnity.

A morning rally was brought out and a discussion was held to mark the occasion, reads a press release.

The programmes were inaugurated by hoisting the national flag of Bangladesh on the embassy premises under the leadership of Ambassador Salauddin Neman Chowdhury. 

In the discussion meeting organised, two documentaries were shown and messages of the president, prime minister, foreign affairs minister and state minister for foreign affairs were also read at the programme. 

Apart from the embassy officials, President of Nepal-Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce, LB Shreshtha, President of Nepal-Bangladesh Friendship Associations Din Daya Rizal and members of Nepal-Bangladesh community also participated in the discussion.
