ACC sues 2 dealers in Bogura over selling fertilizer in black market

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed a case against two fertilizer dealers for allegedly trying to sell two trucks of government urea fertilizer on the black market.

Aminul Islam, assistant director of ACC Bogura office filed the case against Sajjadul Haque and Tahera Hossain on Tuesday morning.

The official said that the accused people brought fertilizer worth around Tk 10.40 lakh in two areas of sadar upazila for selling in black market.

Being tipped off, a team of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) along with the intelligence officials seized the two trucks of fertilizer in Sherpur of Bogra on November 1.
