Ifti Mosharraf Sakal, one of the accused of the Abrar murder case, gave his confessional statement before a Dhaka court on Thursday.
Abrar, a second-year student of the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology was beaten to death allegedly by a group of Bangladesh Chhatra League leaders on Monday.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sadbir Yasir Ahsan Chowdhury recorded Ifti's statement.
Sakal, a third-year biomedical engineering student of Buet, was the deputy social welfare secretary of the Bangladesh Chhatra League.
A total of fifteen people including three who have not been mentioned in the case have been arrested so far in connection with brutal murder of Abrar Fahad.
