536 new dengue patients hospitalised Wednesday
A total of 2,485 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country

A total of 536 new dengue patients were hospitalised across the country in the last 24 hours until 8:00am on Wednesday.
Of them, 175 patients were hospitalised inside Dhaka while 361 at different district-level hospitals.
Today's number is lower than that of the previous 24 hours when 615 new dengue patients were hospitalised across the country till 8:00am on Tuesday.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services, 2,485 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different government and private hospitals across the country.
Of them, 993 patients are receiving treatment in Dhaka and 1,492 outside the capital.
So far, 82,454 dengue patients were hospitalised since January. Among them, 79,766 returned home after getting treatment.
The Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) received reports of 203 suspected deaths caused by dengue.
However, reviewing 116 cases, the IEDCR confirmed 68 people died of dengue, said the directorate.
