The leaders of India, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan will take part in person in the golden jubilee celebrations of Bangladesh's independence.
Apart from that, the presidents of China and Canada will join the occasion virtually.
Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen came up with the disclosure while talking to reporters after attending a programme at a hotel in Dhaka, reports Somoy TV.
"Leaders of different countries have been invited mainly to strengthen friendly relationships with them," he said.
Bangladesh is all set to celebrate the golden jubilee of its independence. With the coronavirus infection rate unabated, the authorities are making arrangements on a limited scale to celebrate the occasion.
