3 killed in Cox’s Bazar road crash
On information, police recovered the bodies
Three members of a family were killed as a minibus collided with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Cox's Bazar-Teknaf road in Teknaf upazila on Wednesday morning.
The deceased were identified as Salamat Ullah, 60, his son Nazrul Islam, 28 and one-year old minor girl Mariam, daughter of Kamrul Islam, residents of Morichya Ghona area of Hneela union in Teknaf upazila.
Khorshed Alam, officer-in-charge (operation) of Teknaf Police Station, said that the accident took place around 10:30am as the minibus rammed the auto-rickshaw on the road in Hwuakang Lambabil area, leaving the three people dead on the spot and five others injured.
On information, police recovered the bodies.
The injured were sent to hospital.
