2 women killed, 1 injured in separate train accidents
Railway police recovered the bodies from the spot and sent those to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Two women were crushed under the wheels of a running train on the Dhaka-Rajshahi rail route in Gazipur on Saturday morning. Another woman was injured in a separate accident on the same route.
The deceased were identified as Morsheda, a resident of Jamalpur and Sajeda Akter, of Beltali village in Dewanganj upazila of the same district. They are aunt and niece in relation.

According to the railway police and eyewitnesses, day labourers Morsheda and Sajeda went to pick mangoes at Gazipur's SalnaTeki Bari area of the Dhaka-Rajshahi railway route during heavy rains this morning. The two women were killed on the spot when they fell under the Nil Sagar Express train.
Meanwhile, a woman was seriously injured as a train hit her on the same route this morning. She was later rescued and admitted to a local hospital.
