160 labourers return home from Saudi Arabia
389 workers have returned in the last three days

Abu Bakkar of Sylhet had gone to Saudi Arabia with big dreams. But all his dreams were shattered and he had to return home empty handed yesterday.
"I had a legal work permit, known as Akama in Arabic, yet the Saudi police forcibly deported me," said Bakkar.
A flight of Saudi Arabian airlines brought back 160 Bangladeshi workers on Tuesday.
With this 389 Bangladeshi workers have returned to Bangladesh in the last three days.
The workers said they had been imprisoned for a few days and then deported despite having legal work permits.
A few of them think their employers either cancelled or did not renew their work permits.
They also alleged that the Bangladesh Embassy in Saudi Arabia had not helped them.
About 10,000 labourers returned to Bangladesh from Saudi Arabia in the last nine months.
