16 Rohingyas en route to Malaysia held in Teknaf
They all fled Myanmar two years ago and took refuge in Bangladesh.

Teknaf Coast Guard members have detained 16 Rohingya people, including eight women and two children, who were waiting to flee to Malaysia by sea.
They were detained from Habirchara area of Teknaf Sadar union on Saturday morning.
They all fled Myanmar two years ago and took refuge in Bangladesh.
The detainees are in the process of being handed over to Teknaf Police Station.
Teknaf Coast Guard Station Commander Lieutenant Sohail Rana confirmed the matter to The Business Standard, saying: "On receiving the news, locals prevented the Rohingyas from fleeing the country. They were later arrested by the Coast Guard on the scene."
The detainees confessed that they were en route to Malaysia by sea and their journey was arranged by a local tout.
